    Opening Day

    Saturday, March 29, 2008, 11:43 PM [General]

I went to Ridley Creek for my opening day adventure loaded with my latest ties and landed 4 rainbows! I'm well chuffed that was only my second ever fly fishing trip, and with the help of a very cool guy who I met on the bank, my casting improved dramatically adn I got to learn some nice spots on the section.

I can't wait to get out on the stream again.

I had most of the fish on Wooley Buggers, and a Brown Bouface, and one surprise on a black and silver copper john!

I lost two in snags at the end of the day and had a whole host of follows... it just makes me hungry for more.

I'll be sure to let you all know how I get on...
