About Me By day I am the Dental Director for an Indian Health Center. At night I turned into my alter ego. I am born and raised in California. I grew up in Southern California but escaped to the quietude of No. Cal. 5 years ago. I live on an acre in woods with my dog, Troy. Our neighbors are squirrels, racoons and a herd of deer that camp out everyday on my lawn. I live 5 minutes from a river where I can fly fish with no pressure from other anglers.
Music My musical tastes run from Jazz to R & R through to Bluegrass. I am a child of the 60's. I was raised on folk music and Rock. I play guitar, mandolin and am learning the banjo. I enjoy playing folk and Bluegrass with a group of people from town every month.
Movies I am a movie lover. I especially love comedy but often watch a testosterone laden action flix. I love off beat quirky Indie movies.
TV I don't watch commercial TV except for sporting events or Jeopardy. I usually watch series and movies on HBO or Showtime.
Books I enjoy reading anything with print even cerial boxes.
Hobbies My current passion is fly fishing. New to the sport, it's only been 5 years now. I try to spend on day everyweekend on a river or stream during the season. I enjoy exploring and discovering new streams and rivers to fish. 2 years ago I took up the art of tying flies. That's a winter project. Something to occupy me on cold, snowy winter nights. I also golf in the summer.

Hi Rick, i am origanlly from northern california,( Santa Rosa ) and i agree there are some great places there. besides the ones you mention, there is Deer Creek, Yellow Creek and some others. if you come up here you don't have to go far. on the southern end there is the Ana River and the Donner and Blitzen in the Steen mountains. both with great fishing and beautiful scenery too.
