    Pea Soup

    Well Hell,

I fished the Mad after work today for a hour with No strikes. The river is high and heavily stained after yesterdays rain.

If you plan to fish the Mad over the week end be expecting a slow day..

The two things I was told was first put glue or head cement on the thread that is wraped around the hook before wrapping the peacock herl or herls around the hook. The second ideal is don't take the thread to the eye of the hook. Wrap the peacock herl or herls an the thread together, like twist them together then wrap the thread an peacock herl up the hook as one. Or third do both. A.K. I think is the one that told me the thread trick.
