    Saltwater Fly Tying

My early days fly fishing were spent in pursuit of trout. Take a good look at any serious trout fisherman's fly box. There might be 20 or more patterns for each stream they fish. Look in a bonefish fly box.... tarpon.. permit.. you could find a ton of different patterns..

Now take a gander in the average mid-atlantic fly box and what do you see? Friggin clousers... chart and white friggin clousers... We must break the chains that bind us fly fisher people!! Break free from closueritis.. There are tons of good patterns out there that will catch more and bigger fish!!
