New to Fly fFshing and Blogs

    Hi all,

I am new to Fly Fishing and using a Blog. I have taken casting lessons, and caught my first fish on a dry fly last spring. I live in Ohio, and fish for Brown Trout in the Mad River. I have joined Trout Unlimited and I am very eager to learn all I can.
The two things I realy want to get into, is tying my own flies, and I would like to learn to Fly Fish for small mouth bass in local rivers.
4 or 5 years ago I started to Fly Fish and even joined our local club. I had some health issues and had to quit the club and fishing.
I am now healthier than ever and I am excited to fish as much as I can.
Being a complete beginner, I welcome any suggestions or comments you may have.

    Thank You
    Todd

Glad to see a fellow Ohioan, did you check out Miami Valley Fly Fishers (www.mvff.us/) they have a beginners fly tying class that I took last year, cost was $30 and the class was great.
