About Me I live in Western Nebraska, east of all the great western fishing in Wyoming and Colorado. Originally grew up by Omaha, Nebraska where the rivers and streams are muddy. I moved out to western Nebraska and was amazed at the clarity of the rivers and streams. Soon discovered flyfishing and the challenge of catching picky trout. Being a novice aquatic entomologist is fun and tying flies and then catching wild trout in Colorado and Wyoming is an awesome experience. I enjoy more the beauty of God's creation wherever I flyfish for trout. Flyfishing gives me an opportunity to refocus my mind on God's will for my life and to be in awe of God's creative power that surrounds me while I flyfish.
    Music Anything that glorifies God.
Likes Building relationships with other flyfisherman or when I am at my job as an Athletic Trainer working with student-athletes.
Dislikes Lack of compassion for the downtrodden and those whose heart is so callus to the feelings of others that they miss out on what life is all about
Hobbies Flyfishing and flytying. Also enjoy being involved in my local church, Mitchell Berean Church, singing on worship team.
    Virtues Honesty, integrity and Character
Heroes Jesus Christ and those who sacrifice their own desires to do the will of Christ in their lives

Longing for cool mountain streams and wild trout

Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong part of the United States.  I grew up in flatlands of eastern Nebraska where humidity is prevalent and you never dry off because of it.  I love flyfishing and flytying and also enjoy skiing.  These two things involve me getting to the Rocky Mountains and thus will keep me having fun whether in the summer or winter.  Even in western Nebraska or as many call it, the "high plains", I still long for the majestic peaks of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.  I just don't do flyfishing and flytying enough.
