    Hi Beth. Thanks for viewing my blog! To answer your question, an apache trout is a native trout of the white mountains in Arizona. It is yellowish-gold color and has medium-sized dark spots that are evenly spaced extending below the lateral lines.
    In the photo section of my site it is the 3rd to 5th photo (golden fish in the net). Beautiful fish and stout fighter!

    tarpon time!! woo hoo, thanks to some daily rain showers and flowing waters, juvenille tarpon are a blast on lighter weight rods with an imitation small bait patterned fly.
