Fished the Smoky Mts the past week while putting our RV on a seasonal site.  Fished Curtis Creek, South Toe, Armstong Creek and Little Buck Creek.  Mainly brookies and browns on nymphs and drys.

I have returned from Erie, PA from a 4 day Steelhead fishing trip.  Yes, the water was very low, but we still had a good time.  I looked on various sites prior to my trip from NC, and could not believe that they were telling people not to come.  We had the trip planned, so there was no turning back.  We had to make the best of the situation that we were in.  The rain gods heard us, and it rained - the pools of steelhead were able to start up the river. 

I know that there has been no rain - I live in one of the states that has the severe drought.
