As the New York Chairman of Fishing Has No Boundaries I'm proud to announce the fourth annual Fishing Has No Boundaries two day event at Camp Chingachgook on Lake George in the Adirondacks. The confirmed dates are September 11th and 12th 2010. This event will coincide with the Y-Knot Sailing Regatta. Most of us think that fishing is as easy as a walk to the lake. For 56 million Americans with disabilities it's not that easy. We use pontoon boats and adaptive fishing equipment to get people of all abilities on the water and fishing. Y-Knot uses adapted sailing boats to support people with disabilities to sail in their regatta. All of us are volunteers and if you would like to join us as a volunteer contact me. We are currently reqruiting mature, friendly, hard working volunteers and board members.
Fishing Has No Boundaries®, Inc. (FHNB) is a non-profit 501-C3 organization whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing. FHNB has grown into a National Organization with 23 chapters in 11 states, enabling thousands of individuals with disabilities to participate fully in this spirit lifting, morale booster, trouble free recreational activity. Continue to look for additional announcements for new chapters in new states, opening up new dreams for persons with disabilities that might not otherwise experience what you or I might just take for granted.
We believe through education, training, and the use of adaptive angling equipment, everyone is able to share in a dream come true.
